Siberian Elm is a GORGEOUS wood that is a member of the elm family. It has a caramel brown tone with underlying red and espresso hues throughout. It is a hardwood that can be used for bars, desks, table tops, vanities, or as shelving. Elm has amazing grain tones that resemble marbles and each slab has burls throughout them. ALL of our wood is kiln dried to 6% and treated with a matte-satin clear coat (4-5 coats) and sanded to perfection! These ad pics are based on examples of slabs we have made in the past. If you want a specific slab shape/design...then please email us prior to ordering, so we can send examples or photos of slabs (if the order is placed). If no email is left prior to the order, then WG will send pics of the best slab(s) available and we will immediately start plaining and sanding slabs level. If we don't hear from customers within 48 hours of any order, then WG isn't responsible for customers not agreeing with specific slabs picked out after the order is placed.
