"The Sutherland" is one of the largest tables we make an Wicked Grain. It is made from salvaged black walnut 2" thick planks and made in the traditional "plank style" where you have rows on wood planks side-by-side...similar to a rail road track or a swing bridge. This stunning table is made from kiln dried pure KS black walnut and is sanded and treated to perfection with a satin heavy duty spar urethane. It has a 2" metal black angle frame on the underside which serves as both functional and aesthetic purposes. The frame looks like black trim on the underside of the table. There is a solid 26" of clearance from the bottom of the metal trim to the floor. This tables comes with 2 giant metal industrial X legs. -However, tables wider than 38" will need additional straight leg supports for the center to avoid any wobbling that can occur and these extra leg supports will automatically come with the any table wider than the standard 38". **Trapeze legs or metal tubed square legs are also highly encouraged for this table and you will receive a $149 discount off the order if you choose to go with those legs instead.
